Police arrested a 16-year-old boy after finding him hiding underneath one of the crashed suspect vehicles shortly after midnight on Sunday, Sept. 18, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Five suspects reportedly walked into the 7-Eleven located at 7753 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and demanded cash from the clerk after flashing at least two handguns.
The clerk complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled the scene in two separate vehicles. After police were alerted about the robbery, one of the suspect vehicles was found crashed into the woodline near Jumpers Hole Road and Obrecht Road.
Officers then found the 16-year-old boy hiding underneath of the crashed vehicle, and took him into custody.
Four of the suspects are still on the loose.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Black male wearing a light gray hooded jacket, and black pants
- Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray mask
- Black male wearing a black, gray, and white winter coat, black pants, and a black mask
- Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and a black mask
